Here's were a "slippery slope argument" can be used...
let's call everything that can be fixed by deleting the configuration files
notabug... even if it was something our program screwed up on, and happens to
everybody.

I'm not saying this particular bug affected anyone besides me. But that calling
everything that can be fixed by deleting a (or the) configuration file(s)
"notabug"(or even "fixed")* might not be the best way to go about things.
"notabug" sounds like saying it's supposed to work like this.  I doubt 'find'
was supposed to go to unmatching cells.

Perhaps adding an option called something like "resolved" "Workaround"**, or
something like that. This "Workaround" could even have common sub choices like:
"reinstalled", "deleted configuration file(s)", "other", etc...

*("fixed" implies the cause/source of the problem was found and corrected)
**("workaround" implies the cause/source of the problem may or may not have
been found, but something that can deal with the issue has)
