We are going to need specifics of the proposal. For example, as the native ODF standards (on which the LibreOffice documents are based and processed) provide no interoperability with PDF, is there a technical description or API for this "Hybrid PDF" format? How would its implementation compare with overdue support for PDF standards--ISO 32000-1 for PDF 1.7, or of ISO 14289-1 for PDF/UA? Correct filtered Cairo project based "print" export to PDF formats and filtered import into ODF as ODG is the existing architecture. How would document fidelity be assured on round trips into and out of this "Hybrid PDF" format?
