The Problem: We wanted to edit a presentation, but it was so slow that it was
impossible. Later we found out, by the individual look of the graphics, that
this is up to the alpha channel. Then we remove the Alpha-Channel from the
Master Image an edit it to the Presentation.
Reason: The Background image in the Master. The Picture has 1920x1080 Pixel.
Check the Picture with file on a Linux System:
bg-orig.png: PNG image data, 1920 x 1080, 8-bit/color RGBA, non-interlaced
An RGBA!
Open this Image in Gimp -> Transparency -> Remove Alpha Channel,
File -> Overwrite image.png
Set the new Image in the Master.
