I didn't reproduce your problem with 3.5 branch (updated yesterday) but had
these error messages in console :
warn:sw.uno:29986:1:/home/julien/compile-libreoffice/libo_3_5/sw/source/ui/uno/SwXDocumentSettings.cxx:474:
"CurrentDatabaseCommand" property possibly set before
"CurrentDatabaseDataSource"
warn:sw.uno:29986:1:/home/julien/compile-libreoffice/libo_3_5/sw/source/ui/uno/SwXDocumentSettings.cxx:483:
"CurrentDatabaseCommandType" property possibly set before
"CurrentDatabaseDataSource"
warn:legacy.tools:29986:1:/home/julien/compile-libreoffice/libo_3_5/sfx2/source/doc/guisaveas.cxx:699:
Unacceptable parameters are provided in Save request!

Some questions :
- Do you reproduce this on a brand new document or just in this specific
document ?
- Was there a link with a database or something ?

Could you try these 2 things :
1) Remove or backup your LO profile. According to the version, it could be on
~/.libreoffice and/or ~/.config/libreoffice
Then try again to open and write something on your document.

2) If 1) doesn't work. Copy the content of your file in a simple editor (for
example gedit) then copy paste from the last editor in a brand new document and
try again
