Lee Harding <[email protected]> changed: What |Removed |Added ---------------------------------------------------------------------------- Status|RESOLVED |UNCONFIRMED Resolution|INVALID |--- Ever confirmed|1 |0 --- Comment #11 from Lee Harding <[email protected]> --- Thanks for your continued support. I will now endeavour to reply to your request: As previously reported, I am a novelist and currently plagued with pagination problems. Have used OpenOffice and then Libre Office for years and did not experience this problem until a Ubuntu Update, which included the current version of LibreOffice. My stats are as follows: I am running Ubuntu 14.04LTS on an Acer Aspire E-1-531 64bit with Intel Celeron 1.80GHzx2, with LibreOffice 4.2.7.2 Build ID: 420mO (Build 2) No matter what page number I insert in Text Flow for Page I of a new chapter, I get 63. As a check, I have checked chapters from earlier projects that did not have this problem, but when I insert a new page number for page one....I get 63. Can you imagine how frustrating this is? It is affecting my professional output and income! Currently on a brief annual holiday, my plan is to return to Windows and Word when I resume work, hoping to safely transfer my files to Word without any problems. BUT: I have heard of "corrupt" files, though in my fifteen year experience with computers have not experienced one. Could this current problem fall into this catagory, and if so, how can it be fixed. If I can't transfer the files safely to MS .... I'm not a techie but I HAVE been using Ubuntu for many years, and had no problems with LibreOffice 3. I trust the above information will assist. Thank you. wordsmyth -- You are receiving this mail because: You are the assignee for the bug.
