            Bug ID: 92522
Summary: Formatting - Re-styling paragraph (e.g. changing to
                    italics) changes whole document
           Product: LibreOffice
           Version: 4.4.2.2 release
          Hardware: All
                OS: Linux (All)
            Status: UNCONFIRMED
          Severity: normal
          Priority: medium
         Component: Writer
          Assignee: [email protected]
          Reporter: [email protected]

When highlighting a whole paragraph to apply a new format, the whole document
is reformatted. For example, when I try to italicise a given paragraph, every
other paragraph is changed as well.

It only happens if I try to make the change to the whole paragraph - if I leave
only a single letter unhighlighted and then apply the
italics/bold/strikethrough/underline, only the highlighted portion of the
paragraph is changed, not the whole document.

It might be an issue with default style settings, because those paragraphs that
I've styled as 'Quotations' are not affected, although those styled 'Footnotes'
are - even though, as far as I can see, each of these styles has the same
settings in the 'Organizer' tab in their respective 'Paragraph Style' settings.

This might be standard but, after the whole document has been reformatted, the
newly-applied style also appears in the'Apply Styles' dropdown menu - that is,
each entry (apart from 'Quotations') is underlined or italicised etc.
