General: After opening Writer and other applications of the LibreOffice suite,
there is delay of ~30 seconds, during which time the application does not
respond.
Environment details: Windows 8.1, Java not installed, using default mitigation
settings in MS EMET for swriter.exe etc. Files are all stored locally, not on
network.
LibreOffice versions: Both v. 4.4.4.3 and v. 4.4.3.2
Reproducing issue:
1.1 Open a Writer, Calc or other document.
OR
1.2 Open the application directly, creating a new default document.
2. Click on the menu bar, e.g. File or Help.
3. Observe that the application freezes for ~30 seconds the first time this
is done.
Because of this, I've reverted to v. 4.3.7.2, which does not exhibit a long
delay on clicking on the menu.
