A textbox is not able (and was never able) to contain an image. The best you
can do is to place the image on top of the textbox, not inside.

What you actually need is to make sure that the textbox isn't selected. So you
can also click anywhere in the slide.

Because what you want is not to put the image inside the textbox, but get a
floating image and drag it on top of the textbox.
