Maxim Monastirsky <[email protected]> changed: What |Removed |Added ---------------------------------------------------------------------------- CC| |[email protected] --- Comment #1 from Maxim Monastirsky <[email protected]> --- Hi, First please upgrade to one of the latest versions (currently 4.4.5 or 5.0.1). 3.6 is really old, and in general we don't accept new bug reports against it. (In reply to David N. Currey from comment #0) > First, there is no "Formatting" toolbar. There never was "Formatting" toolbar in Impress, only "Text Formatting". > There is a "Text Formatting" > toolbar, but it does not have the Bullet on/off button that I used to use in > the OpenOffice version of this software. Can't confirm this. I do have this button in 4.4 and 5.0. And it also present there in the right sidebar. > Second, after I've selected a bullet in the bullet dialog, I start typing > and there is a bullet on the first line. When I hit the Enter key to start > the second line, there is no bullet on the second line, and nothing I can do > will put a bullet on the second line. It simply will not put a bullet on > any of the later lines. That's because this text frame has a "title" style (while you need a frame with "subtitle" style, or just a plain textbox). It's reproducible with any "title" text frame (i.e. create a presentation with a layout containing a title, and try it there). Seems something intentional (titles aren't supposed to contain lists), although the ability to change the style of an existing frame could be nice enhancement. -- You are receiving this mail because: You are the assignee for the bug.
