There may have been an issue with something hanging over from the previous version or something. In the last day or so I've used it quite a bit. Still can't find a "Formatting" toolbar, but I guess I don't need it. Thanks for your help. I thought I had the newest version of Impress, however I may have lost it when I had to do a restore several days ago.
