I wouldn't care about KDE bugs even when Qt4 was the actual platform - and I'm coming from KDE using it daily. Admittedly, there are some distributions still on KDE4. Inferior means, big players employ hundreds of usability and design freaks. No chance to be better on such a core dialog.
