Joel Madero <[email protected]> changed: What |Removed |Added ---------------------------------------------------------------------------- Status|UNCONFIRMED |NEEDINFO CC| |[email protected] Ever confirmed|0 |1 --- Comment #2 from Joel Madero <[email protected]> --- "it opens faster in Excel" is not a valid report - of course it does, it's their format, when opened in LibreOffice it has to parse the OOXML code, turn it into native code, and then display it. Try opening an ODS file (native open source format) in Excel and you'll have a lot more problems than slow open time - their support for open source formats is dismal at best. Second, the exclamation mark is entirely unhelpful and a good way to irritated volunteers. It makes it seem like you're underappreciating the product and our tireless hours of work (at no cost to you). That being said - I've tested the file with: Ubuntu 15.04 x64 LibreOffice 5.1 (master) I see the same behavior as MM - we can't open the file at all (input/output error) so the test file is useless for this bug. Marking as NEEDINFO. I suggest you report a new bug pertaining to the input/output error and then put "see also" and add this bug to it. This bug cannot move forward until: 1) A new test file is added that we can open; 2) The input/output error is resolved. Please don't reopen this bug unless one of the two above things are done. Thanks -- You are receiving this mail because: You are the assignee for the bug.
