But I don't need to change the association of specific fonts with specific
languages. All of the languages in question use the Latin alphabet so I should
be able to change between the languages (in my case en-GB and gd-GB) without
having to change default font associations. It's not like I need to tell it to
use Arial Unicode so I can write in Burmese or something.

And it still does not explain why it offers me German (Lichtenstein) and Gaelic
but not English (UK). And/Or en-US which I have neither as a keyboard not a
proofing language.
