Yes, I did what you advised. I haven't received the crashed program or fatal error messages yet, but after 20 or 30 minutes of use basic functions within Writer (such as selecting fields of text, spellcheck, etc.) slow to an excrucuating crawl -- as if, all of a sudden, I'm trying to run LibreOffice on a substandard computer (for the record, it's an HP laptop running Windows 8.1, with an AMD A8 processor and 8GB of RAM, if that's any help). -- You are receiving this mail because: You are the assignee for the bug.
