--- Comment #5 from [email protected] --- (In reply to prcwnl from comment #4) > > I'm also creating a thread about >Applay< button being needed for settings > change and visual control without leaving a tool being utilised. > It is rather not a 'bug report' but a 'feature request' where I should post it? I lost main forum form my sight ... [ I have many experience with setting properties of lines and other objects in general where there is need for visual checking of the effect. Only 'trial & errors' method seems to work, which includes series of the same: tool opening, tuning, closing, visual checking, and so on ... Here arise following SUGGESTION: Please consider adding <Applay> button wherever any changes are made to apply them without leaving window/tool/editor - if possible and wouldn't create a bunch of new problems. { Imagine You're fitting length of the set of line sections between two other crossing lines, so that ends of every line section would touch the two crossing lines on both sides without gaps. If the line sections are groped together in second level of grouping You can't use right side tools for that to avoid a window with <OK> button being reopened every time You are not satisfied. The same you repeat with every object being fitted... } Many examples of that are in my presentation being already sent to you with bug report: https://bugs.documentfoundation.org/show_bug.cgi?id=95108 ] -- You are receiving this mail because: You are the assignee for the bug.
