            Bug ID: 95429
Summary: When copying a slide from another presentation,
                    applying masters is a problem
           Product: LibreOffice
           Version: unspecified
          Hardware: Other
                OS: Linux (All)
            Status: UNCONFIRMED
          Severity: normal
          Priority: medium
         Component: Impress
          Assignee: [email protected]
          Reporter: [email protected]

User-Agent: Mozilla/5.0 (X11; Ubuntu; Linux x86_64; rv:41.0)
Gecko/20100101 Firefox/41.0
Build Identifier: LibreOffice 5.0.2.2

Impress handling of Masters is poor.
Have often lost data in other docs (Calc and Writer) because Impress crashes
and that causes the other docs to also shut down without save.

Reproducible: Always

Steps to Reproduce:
1. Copy slide from docA to docB
2. Copy is successful, brings other presentations formatting with it (would
prefer if it did not)
3. Select Master view
4. select primary master, apply to all slides
5. after long wait (minute or more) can start working again
6. sometimes Impress crashes, if I am also working in Calc or Writer, lose what
was doing there as well.
7. on right click, to delete unwanted extra masters, outline of context menu
box appears, but no options

Actual Results:
soffice freezes, sometimes crashes, taking down all other soffice documents
that are open. Is extremely irritating since autosave does not seem to work
during the freeze.

Expected Results:
When I copy a slide from one presentation to another, I expect the copied slide
to take on the formatting (styles, background, etc.) of the presentation I have
copied the slide into (otherwise my presentation format becomes inconsistent.)
If I really want to have the formatting copied across as well, it would be
better to have a separate function where I can explicitly do this - e.g. "paste
with formatting".
I then need to do cleaning up in the copied to document, because styles come
through with the same name, etc.
