After that, many changes were made to the document using Writer but always saved as "docx", and finally the document was delivered to the MSWord environment. I do not know whether the MSWord environment was on a Mac but suspect that it was on Windows. I would also like to reiterate that the problem does not appear in OS 10.6.8!
