Perhaps try a few of the choices. They all do work and have worked correctly
for all releases of LibreOffice.

IMHO "regular expressions" should be enabled by default and available for use
in the Find toolbar (Ctrl>+F). But is a simple matter to enable ICU Regular
Expressions based regexp "wildcard" search and gain full search utility in the
Find/Replace dialog (<Ctrl>+H).
