Did you read about https://wiki.documentfoundation.org/UserProfile ?
LO profile dircetory keeps all the config of LO (extensions included).
If you rename it, it'll force LO to create a brand new one at the next launch
of it.
The goal is to be sure your problem is not due to some bugs from old LO
versions.

To reverse the process, just close LO, remove the newly created profile and
rename back the directory you had renamed first.
