            Bug ID: 96425
Summary: Is there a way to save outline settings for use in
                    other documents?
           Product: LibreOffice
           Version: unspecified
          Hardware: All
                OS: All
            Status: UNCONFIRMED
          Severity: enhancement
          Priority: medium
         Component: Writer
          Assignee: [email protected]
          Reporter: [email protected]

Dear LibreOffice Team,

I love your software, and I just supported it with a $10 donation. I consider
that money well spent, even if you ignore this humble feature request.

I like to set up the format of my outlines/bullet lists etc. just-so, and I
have two or three different outline formats that I like to use: one for writing
exams, one for lecture notes, etc.

Each time I start a new document, I have to fiddle with the formats again.
Unless I am missing something, there is no way to save an outline format for
later use.

Could you implement this?

What I envision is a button in the outline formatting dialogue that says "save
this format". When you click on it, you get a save dialogue, where you can name
the new format, etc. There would be another button on the outline formatting
dialogue, labelled, "Use Saved Format". Clicking this button would produce a
dialogue with list of saved formats to select and use. The same dialogue would
allow you to rename or delete one of the items on the list. To edit a saved
format, return to the original outline formatting dialogue, change settings as
desired, and click "save this format" again.

I believe this is a feature that not even (shudder) MS Word has!

Thanks!!
