I did a quick test with LibreOffice 3.5, and your Word count extension worked
without any problems after I had copied wc.py to
C:\Users\user\AppData\Roaming\LibreOffice\3\user\Scripts\python (Win7) . Are
you willing to maintain your extension.
I asked the developer whether he is willing to maintain the tool for LibO.
