Out of about 20 cycles through deleting profile, launch, edit profile with UseOpenGL false, 2nd launch set UseOpenGL true, launch--I only had one instance of an actual hang on the splash screen and I didn't think to attach to it with WinDbg. Meaning, I'll have to try to use sysinternals ProcessMonitor with Symbols and capture it to a PML and search.
