            Bug ID: 101721
Summary: Unable to continue editing after many highlight
                    commands
           Product: LibreOffice
           Version: 5.2.0.4 release
          Hardware: x86-64 (AMD64)
                OS: Mac OS X (All)
            Status: UNCONFIRMED
          Severity: normal
          Priority: medium
         Component: Writer
          Assignee: [email protected]
          Reporter: [email protected]

EDITING: I am working a file with about 1500 diff chunks, highlighting the
changed word(s), phrase(s), whitespace(s) or punctuation(s) in the "new"
chunks. I am making a few other changes interspersed, but so far, the bug has
appeared only when trying to highlight.

OS: I am running on "latest bugfix" of OS X 10.9.5

To duplicate:

Choose one of the green highlight colors
repeat:
Select the word, punctuation, space, or phrase
Click the "highlight" icon (which is showing as green)
Optional: You may occasionally save the file: This bug shows up either way
Move the cursor to the next location

At some point, it is no longer possible to edit the file: Cannot select, cannot
give it the highlight, cannot add or remove text. CAN "undo" and "redo" and CAN
save the file. Note that "some point" seems to be several dozens of highlights.
I've had this happen about 4 times on a file with about 3000 lines, and I have
(very roughly) 75% of the file edited so far.

I would attach the file, but it is distinctly NSFW. If you want it anyhow,
comment saying so.
