Well, French ministry of Education never applied the 1990 orthography reform in
French schools.
The current autocorrection is ambigue --> ambiguë (not ambhiguë, I think you
made a typo). I prefer the spelling ambigüe as it is allowed since the reform.
ambiguité --> ambigüité (or ambiguïté) is also missing.
That said, please, remember that the reform did not make wrong what was correct
before; for each change proposed by the reform, both spelling must be
considered as correct.
My point of view is to let the user to choose the spelling she prefer. To do
that she can modify the auto-correct configuration or choose her preferred
French dictionary in the Grammalecte extension.
