Ah - yes, I see your nice trace now Terrence - thanks for that =) if it is an
ancient bug, then yes no point in bisecting. The last thing that would be
useful would be a valgrind trace - in case it is a memory corruption issue (it
seems un-reliable - so quite possibly) rather than a simple logic bug.
