"wizards that don't open": version 5.1.6.2 I tried regenerating the USER
directory by renaming it, and the program did create a new USER directory. This
did not change any symptoms that I could detect.
Updated to 5.2.4: changed the USER directory back to my original one and
updated the version to 5.2.4. Now the wizards open.
The garbling issue still happens in the table, but I can work around that as
described originally.
The reports file can be edited, and now it opens and creates a report.
This appears to be very good. I will work with it and gain a more detailed
understanding of how it works now, and maybe later submit a report about the
garbled data in the table.
