They're 2 different branches.
More precisely, 5.4 branch correspond to master branch (the bleeding edge for
dev), 5.3 corresponds to the branch which provides soon the release 5.3.0 (see
https://wiki.documentfoundation.org/ReleasePlan/5.3)
So it seems we need bibisect here (see
