            Bug ID: 106245
Summary: Please, remove current limitation on function keys
           Product: LibreOffice
           Version: unspecified
          Hardware: All
                OS: All
            Status: UNCONFIRMED
          Severity: enhancement
          Priority: medium
         Component: LibreOffice
          Assignee: [email protected]
          Reporter: [email protected]

Some function keys are reserved by default and cannot be modified or made
inactive: F1, F6, F10, Shift+F1, Shift+F6, maybe a few more. I do not know if
this choice has an historical reason, but I would really like to get rid of
this limitation.
F1 is just next to "esc". On a small notebook I often hit F1 instead of "esc"
and every time the browser fires up with the help page. It would be really
helpful to make F1 inactive. Similarly, F6 and F10 could be used for some
formatting or commonly used functions. To have three out of twelve function
keys unusable is a bit frustrating.
Is there any tweak to remove this limitation? Or will the developers consider
the possibility of removing this limitation in one of the forthcoming releases?
