Actually believe this is to be expected as font rendering is being refactored.
There were a few changes between 5.3.1 and 5.3.2
Also, LO controlled UI scaling was removed at the 5.3 release for support of
HiDPI (bug 101646). And OS "scaling" will cause blurry resampling of the bitmap
icons.
On Windows builds there is no support for Microsoft ClearType sub-pixel
rendering.
Please provide details of your graphics GPU and driver, screen resolution,
version of Windows.
Also the "Graphics Output" rendering settings on the Tools -> Options -> View
will control the way fonts are rendered. Please repeat your tests and sample
with each of the configurations--i.e. Use OpengGL, Use hardware acceleration,
or CPU only--with and without anti-aliasing checked.
