Sounds as reasonable enhancement. There are similar requests for image, so I
add that to See Also.
There could be both solutions:
- add option, as you suggested (Tools|Options... -> LibreOffice|Calc|General
-> Input settings): [ ] "Anchor chart to cell after insert".
- add step 5. in Chart Wizard: Chart Position with options "To page" and "To
cell" (and maybe 3rd option).
