The connector source code is in the LibreOffice source tree, configure it with
--enable-ext-mariadb-connector and build LibreOffice, it will build the
extension along.
There was a known/planned ABI break in... LibreOffice 4.0? Something like that.
Also, the ABI sometimes depends on the compiler brand and version, stuff like
that. Except for that, compilations of the extension should be compatible
across LibreOffice versions.
