Joel Madero <[email protected]> changed: What |Removed |Added ---------------------------------------------------------------------------- CC| |[email protected] --- Comment #1 from Joel Madero <[email protected]> 2012-08-30 18:56:30 UTC --- what does "work with the documents" mean. Can I just open it and leave it open or do I have to change things? Please clarify and I'll try to pinpoint it. Your graphics memory has nothing to do with it, your RAM is more likely to be suspect but without a bit more information I'm not positive. I can see that just having the one document open on my machine (the test you provided) I am using 12.6% of my 4 gigs of RAM (~510 megs or so). The number jumps to 21.1% if I open it twice (~860 MB). The more I think about it the more I'm sure that this is the issue. Now the question is....is this a bug? It's not a memory leak, it's just the way that memory is allocated to deal with formulas. If you're running 2 gigs of RAM and trying to handle these kinds of documents (multiple at the same time), you're going to run into problems -- Configure bugmail: https://bugs.freedesktop.org/userprefs.cgi?tab=email ------- You are receiving this mail because: ------- You are the assignee for the bug. _______________________________________________ Libreoffice-bugs mailing list [email protected] http://lists.freedesktop.org/mailman/listinfo/libreoffice-bugs
