Joel Madero <[email protected]> changed: What |Removed |Added ---------------------------------------------------------------------------- Status|UNCONFIRMED |NEEDINFO Ever Confirmed|0 |1 --- Comment #2 from Joel Madero <[email protected]> 2012-08-30 20:43:57 UTC --- I have spoken with several developers and a couple things can be said: 1. I am marking this as NEEDINFO. We need a lot more in terms of reproducible steps, system specs (RAM specifically), how you have undo configured on your system, how you have auto save configured. If the below info doesn't help and you provide the information, please open this back up as UNCONFIRMED and I'll investigate 2. Below is a list of POTENTIAL possibilities without knowing your specific setup: a) You're system is limited due to RAM, with this many formulas you should expect stuff to be stored in RAM and thus use it up, depending on how many documents you're talking about, you're going to see RAM used b) the auto-save feature is going to suck up a bunch of RAM when it saves. If you're seeing these spikes every 15-30 minutes, could easily be that you're hitting system max because of auto-save c) undo code needs work (we know this already), depending on how you are using undo you could see these types of crashes. For instance if you delete a bunch of formulas (like tens of thousands) and then undo this, you're going to see a spike, it's essentially like opening the document a second time. d) auto-filling tens of thousands of formulas could result in hitting system max for RAM and a resulting crash These are all possibilities but really just guesses without more information.
