Hello, I'm not trolling, but I want to understand if there is any way to make
better startup performance.
Generally, launching OpenOffice Writer 3.4.1 is much, much, much faster than
LibreOffice Writer 6.0.6:
Intel Dual Core 6600 with Hard Disk
- LO 6.0.6 Writer, cold boot (start menu icon) to cursor: 23 seconds
- OO 3.4.1 Writer, cold boot (start menu icon) to cursor: 6 seconds
- LO 6.0.6 Writer, hot boot: 8 seconds
- OO 3.4.1 Writer, hot boot: 3 seconds
On LibreOffice I tried to disable OpenGL/CL, JRE but it doesn't affect this
issue.
Actual Results:
Slow boot
Expected Results:
A faster boot would be nice :-)
Reproducible: Always
User Profile Reset: No
