Not really. We could save it with the gradient like
<draw:gradient draw:name="Foo" ... draw:<bar>="..." steps="Auto"/>
but of course ignore this value on the document. The drawback of an actual
stepping depending on the last chosen gradient preset is similar to the general
setting (and if we go this way, I would place the controls at the bottom of the
preview panel).
