On the Standard toolbar, the Underline button does report its status.
Either with navigation via keyboard, or on mouseover.
Program emits a "pressed" status that NVDA picks up and sounds. The same as for
the other text attribute button actions visible by default--Bold, Italic and
Strike-through.
