@Daniel : if your version of macOS is 10.9.5, then this report is a duplicate
of bug 122374, which in itself is very similar to bug 89657 (in its effects).
When you restart LO, you can also try right-mouse button clicking on the app
icon in the Applications folder and choosing Open while keeping the Shift
button of the keyboard pressed down.
