I unset the Gatekeeper setting, and sent the terminal line.

I tried the suggested move, but no change. I had a look at the previous bugs
you mentioned, but one of them was more about the language pack and I found it
difficult to follow. I haven't installed the language pack yet anyway.
I am now going to try installing LO on my desk iMac11,2, also using Yosemite
10.10.5
