I believe that Bug 127794 is a duplicate report of this, or at least eerily
similar. Further, I'm now working on the assumption that this is NOT a LO
problem, but a Microsoft problem. The Windows Update I installed on 9/27 seems
to have caused all this and I am now concentrating on:
