On Debian 10 I have both 6.3.5.2 and 6.4.1.2 installed
Libreoffice 6.3.5.2 works the same as you are seeing on Windows "pressing
"Alt+Down" expands the Character Set list, while pressing "Enter" imports the
file".
Is there any other information that I can provide?
