On pc Debian x86-64 with master sources updated today, I gave a try to it but
don't reproduce this.
If I follow the steps

Where's is "Styles and Formatting" ?
Anyway, I could change the style of a cell in sheet2,
I couldn't on sheet1 where I got the error message quoted in my previous
message.
I made the same test with LO Debian package 6.4.2.2 with gen rendering (to
approach a bit Windows case)
