Description:
Change Punctuations(comma & period) for Korean vertical writing text layout.
Nowadays, In Both Korean(North & South), Document layout is horizontal writing
layout as default.
But, In South Korea, Until the 1990s, Korean newspapers and books were written
vertically.
Currently, Many of Korean newspapers and books have replaced vertical writing
with horizontal writing.
However, Korean newspapers sometimes is written vertically for settlement
announcement and Obituary.

Korean public agency, National Institute of Korean Language(국립국어원) had
officially announced Punctuations(comma & period) for Vertically and
Horizontally in 1988 [문교부 고시 제88-1호(1988. 1. 19.)].

As National Institute of Korean Language, Usage of Punctuations(comma & period)
shows by changing the comma in horizontal writing to the identity comma in
vertical writing.
According to the National Institute of the Korean Language(국립국어원), Comma(,) is
used for horizontal writing in Korean, and they are replaced by ideographic
comma(、) for vertical writing. Also, Period(.) is used for horizontal writing
in Korean, and they are replaced by ideographic full stop (。) for vertical
writing.
W3C's Requirements for Hangul Text Layout and Typography(한국어 텍스트 레이아웃 및 타이포그래피를
위한 요구사항) document is following National Institute of Korean Language Guide.

세로짜기 문장 부호
CJK Symbols and Punctuation (U+3008~U+300F) are used by default. However, in
the case of punctuation, half-width punctuation (pause (comma) U+002C, full
stop (period) U+002E) is used for horizontal writing, and full-width
punctuation (ideographic comma U+3001, ideographic full stop U+3002) are used
for vertical writing.
CJK 전각 기호와 문장부호(CJK Symbols and Punctuation; U+3008~U+300F)를 기본으로 사용한다. 단, 구독점의
경우, 가로짜기에는 반각 문장 부호(반점(쉼표); U+002C, 온점(마침표); U+002E)를, 세로짜기에는 전각 문장 부호(모점;

So, Set Korean mode and Vertical Text mode on LibreOffice,
Period (. U+002E) replaces ideographic full stop (。 U+3002) for Vertical
writing.
Also, Comma(, U+002C) replaces ideographic comma(、U+3001) for Vertical writing.
Steps to Reproduce:
1. Set Korean mode and Vertical Text mode on LibreOffice
2. Period (. U+002E) replaces ideographic full stop (。 U+3002) for Vertical
writing in Korean.
3. Comma(, U+002C) replaces ideographic comma(、U+3001) for Vertical writing in
Korean.
