Thanks for your reply. I'm aware of what you are describing. However, this is
not the desired behaviour of the "background filL" tool in the table toolbar -
it used to be different (see my description). It changed at some point (version
6 ??) and - I think - not for the better. Having to go into the menu of the
table properties every time is a bad solution.
