Perhaps I could seek your advice.
Would that permanently remove all my preferences - everything - from my profile
or does a subsequent normal restart return my original profile?
I've already discovered some releases are quite destructive of user preferences
especially stored sort lists and I'm uncertain I have identified and saved
master versions of all my personal preferences.
Do I "lose" installed extensions etc.?
