Bug ID: 138630
Summary: Paragraph alignment triggered accidentally by clicking
near page margin.
Product: LibreOffice
Version: 7.0.3.1 release
Hardware: x86-64 (AMD64)
OS: Linux (All)
Status: UNCONFIRMED
Severity: normal
Priority: medium
Component: Writer
Assignee: [email protected]
Reporter: [email protected]
Description:
Click at near the right margin of a page overwrites alignment next-to-it
paragraph to right aligned.
Steps to Reproduce:
1. Write a character or more
2. Click at near the right margin at the same height as that line of the
paragraph you wrote that character in
Actual Results:
That paragraphs alignment is overwritten to right aligned.
Expected Results:
No alignment changes
Reproducible: Always
User Profile Reset: No
Additional Info:
I don't know if that is some sort of feature/bug. It could be some overly
clever accelerator for alignment, but if its visibility and affordance is
messed up and it is easy to trigger, e.g. when one wants to set the cursor at
the end of a line.
Version: 7.0.3.1 on Ubuntu 20.04 on Gnome ( using X-Server)
