Uwe Auer conjectured, and I have confirmed, that the reason some people have
not been able to reproduce the issue is that it doesn't happen for all types of
conditional formatting. It *does* happen with color scales and *does not*
happen with conditions (such as "value equals 4"). I have checked this on both
the stable and development versions.
