For the case of the cursor slanting to match surrounding italic text, I believe
this bug is a duplicate of bug 117305. But I am reluctant to change the state
of this bug because Comment 3 starts raising the idea of modifying the cursor
appearance in other formatting ways, which isn't in that bug.
