Hi,
I dunno if this is what you're looking for. But there is a way to completely
stop animations while in the edit mode.
Tools -> Options -> LibreOffice -> Accessibility -> Uncheck "Allow animating
images"
With this, the gifs don't get animated while in edit mode, but will during
presentation.
Hope this was what you were searching for. I don't think there's an option to
have the gif play at least once. I might be wrong as well. I'm still exploring
LibreOffice. :)
