--- Comment #1 from Daniel Thul <[email protected]> --- I found out that this problem does only exist if the PC is connected to the Internet. When no internet connection exists everything is fast. A thread in a Ubuntu forum gave me the idea to try this out. They also said that the reason were DNS requests that LibreOffice generates when opening, closing or saving a file. So I installed Wireshark and indeed I found out, that LibreOffice generates some LLMNR requests for each of these operations. What was odd was that the name I gave the computer showed up in these requests but with a screwed Umlaut. So I renamed the PC in Windows from "Büro" to "Buero" and now everything works well! Also the LLMNR packets that slowed everything down are gone now. There seems to be an issue in LibreOffice when handling computer names that contain special characters. -- You are receiving this mail because: You are the assignee for the bug.
