Installed Comic Sans MS font working in Text Editor
Fonts installed in the OS cannot be selected or used in LibreOffice Writer,
Calc, or Impress but work on other apps.
- It works on Writer, Calc v6 on Ubuntu 16.04
- It fails on Writer, Calc, and Impress v7 on Ubuntu 18.04
- Ubuntu 18.04 did font cache refresh, fc-cache -fv
- Used Fonts (viewer) 3.28.0, all fonts display
- Fonts can be selected and used with gedit 3.28.1, see attached screenshot
- Fonts needed and installed are Comic Sans MS (easy for children to read) and
Radios in Motion (Morse code for documentation) both TrueTypeFont
